I am currently IN LOVE with the BYS Scented Nailpolish, particularly the Rose scented one. I have Lime, Blueberry, Floral and Bubblegum but this is by far my favourite.
Even LC is a fan
I have to admit I was pretty skeptical on the scent. When I first sampled in the store, I put the bottle up to my nose and of course, smelled nailpolish. I thought there was no way this was going to smell like roses.
Later on, I asked the sales assistant about the nailpolish. She said it had to be dry for you to smell it.
I thought, I’d give it a go with Rose – play it safe with a scent that was going to be easy to distinguish when dry.
Took it home and what do you know…? They smell of roses. I was so impressed by it I went back the next day and bought more.
Truth is though… the scent doesn’t last forever and if you put a top coat one – which is needed with all nail colour application, the scent of the nailpolish won’t be as apparent as once thought. In fact, when I put a clear top coat on it I couldn’t smell it anywhere.
However, if you decide not to put a top coat the scent of the nailpolish should last about a week. But with showers and regular hand washing the scent disappears slowly. Not unless you refresh the nail colour daily.
Definitely try it out if you ever come across it. BYS scent nail polish can be found at GLOSS stores for $4.95 and come in 18 difference shades and scents.
FINALLY! I got my Sleek MakeUP i-Devine Ultra Matte V2 palettes this week. They are just as beautiful in real life than it is online.

It’s the end of the month, so you know that means…
Wow, it’s the end of February already?! February is one of my favourite months of the year. It’s “The Love Month” because of Valentine’s Day of course, but the weather is still bright and warm. It’s the last month of Summer in the southern hemisphere too, so its when Aussies go out and embrace the last days of Summer.
So after today’s post we are officially going into Autumn.
Here are the things I loved this month with all my heart…
In the lead up to October, I thought I”d put together my top 10 beauty staples. These are the things I use daily and if I was completely honest, I’d say something corny like “I can’t live without these products.
I’ve decided to participate in a month-long challenge called Buy Nothing New which runs for the month of October, when you don’t buy anything new for a whole month (food excluded obviously) to reduce waste and ultimately save a shitload of money. Also its really great for the environment because you’re not going to be throwing out as much.
But I decided to put my own spin on it and decided to do it but with my beauty products, also known as Project 10 Pan. For those who don’t know what Project 10 Pan is, its just this: You pick your top 10 go-to products and only stick with those ten items until they’re absolutely empty.
In my case, I’m going to be picking my top ten and sticking to them for the 31 days of October for the Buy Nothing New challenge. Goodness only knows I need to this, especially after how much I spent at Sydney IMATS. I can save some money and use up all my products instead of just half-finishing them. It will take a lot of will power, but I”m determined all in the name of the environment, my own discipline and to save some money.
