» Empties – April

I know I’m really late with this post, so I apologise. Also, there are a few products I’ve finished that you’ve probably seen in previous Empties posts.
Should I include them in these posts every month or should I skip them? Please let me know in the comments.

April is always one of my favourite months of the year. Mainly because it starts to cool down and the warm knits come out.

Here are my favourites for this month…

» 5 Things I ♥’d This Week!

Gosh! I haven’t done of these in such a long time but I’m definitely going to start getting back into it this year.

Here are the things I loved this week…

Lush’s ‘Honey I Washed The Kids’ soap
My new favourite soap! I love that the smell stays on my skin after my shower and it also makes my shower smells nice by just sitting there.
Available from Lush stores, $6.95/100g.

Soap & Glory Hand Food
It’s not the most “healthy” hand cream on the market but it’s so GOOD! It’s not sticky or greasy and does an amazing job at leaving your hands soft and silky smooth.
Available from Kit Cosmetics, $11.95.

UFC Coconut Water
I recently got back into coconut water and for some reason I only like this brand’s coconut water – second best option to straight from the source itself. I have my dude to thank for getting me hooked onto this.
Available from About Life for a little over $5 for a 1L carton.

The Carrie Diaries
Since it’s now become a TV show, I thought I’d reread this book again before I dive into watching the series.
I bought my copy from Borders, but I’m sure you could still buy this at other books stores.

EOS lip balm in ‘Sweet Mint’
Pretty much my favourite lip balm for bedtime. It’s not sticky and has a nice minty sensation without being too powerful.
Unfortunately the online store I bought this from shut down, I’m not too sure where you can get these anymore. eBay? If anyone finds out could you please let me know.

What things did you love this week?

» PRODUCT OF THE MONTH: Lush’s ‘Honey I Washed the Kids’ soap

I’ve been LOVING Lush products lately; I absolutely can’t get enough of them!

A few months ago, I received a sample of this soap after making quite a large purchase. The sales assistant said it was their most popular soap, and only after I used did I realise she wasn’t lying.

» FACE MASK SUNDAY! Lush’s Oatifix

I’ve been noticing this a lot lately on Twitter that a lot of Beauty Bloggers like to do face masks on a Sunday. I know I like to.
It’s an attempt to have that last bit of relaxation “me” time before we commence another week without going too overboard.

I’ll try and do these once a month so maybe you can incorporate some into your Sunday.

This week I’m loving Lush’s Oatifix

» 5 THINGS I ♥’d THIS WEEK

Clipper White Tea with Raspberry
I found this by complete accident while I was at the local supermarket near my house. I liked the idea of white tea and raspberry, despite not really liking the fruity teas. I expected these to turn out red or even a pink, but alas it looks like ordinary tea.
I bought these for $5.77. Go to the Clipper Tea website for more information and a complete list of different teas they have. I haven’t seen this brand anywhere else except my small supermarket, so I don’t know how easily you’ll be able to find them.

LUSH ‘Sex Bomb’ Bath Bomb
I rarely have baths but I’m hoping that I’ll have one a little more regularly.
I used this recently and was really surprised by it. It fizzed til it completely dissolved, turned the water pink and left my skin smelling exactly like the bath bomb for hours afterwards.
‘Sex Bomb’ can be purchased from any LUSH store for $6.75. (One time use).

LUSH Porridge Handmade Soap
My new favourite soap! It’s ultra creamy and the grain in the soap is the most excellent exfoliator I’ve ever used.
Porridge handmade soap can be purchased from any LUSH store for $6.50/100g.

O.P.I nailpolish in ‘Elephantastic Pink’
I’m really into the neon fashion at the moment. This colour isn’t too neon but it’s a really bright pink.
O.P.I nailpolish can be purchased from David Jones for $19.95.

Kikki.K Gratitude Journal
So, in order to tidy up my life a little bit I decided to go on a bit of a spending spree in Kikki.K to buy a few supplies.
Just before I went to the counter I picked up the Gratitude journal and thought it would be good to write daily notes on things I am grateful for. So far, it’s made me feel very humble and blessed to have such love and positive things surrounding me.
The Gratitude Journal is available from Kikki.K for $39.95.

» LOOK WHAT I BOUGHT: Lush soaps

Lately, I’ve been in love with LUSH soaps. I find they’re amazing on the skin and smells good enough to eat.

I picked these three in the last week or so. Two of them have a citrus fragrance to them. I think that’s pretty normal considering I love citrus scented anything!

» SHOPAHOLIC: The Birthday Girl

So… someone is celebrating a birthday in September. Not only does this blog turn a year old, I am also having a birthday on the fourth.

Personally, I don’t like making a big deal of my birthday, but it is the only day of the year where I get whatever I want, when I want.
But having said that I rarely ask for presents. Material gifts particularly because it actually embarrasses me to ask. This year, is no exception, however… the one present that I do want…

I have my heart set on this…
