I haven’t done Project X Pan for almost a year and I think it’s a good time to do another one.

This time around I’m doing a few of them in different categories. This first one will be with my lip products because, as some of you know, I have a very unhealthy addiction to lip balms, lip gloss and lipsticks.

It’s now Autumn in Australia and one of the most important things we need to do is keep parts of bodies warm and hydrated. In Australia we all love pawpaw ointment. It’s a basic staple in anyone beauty bag.
The most common on is Lucas’ Papaw Ointment, but for a while now there has been much stigma behind since it was recently discovered that its petroleum based.

Today I decided it would be a good time to road test a few pawpaw ointments on the market and compare them. Some of these I bought online and others I bought from a pharmacy in Australia.

For those who know me you’d know how much I detest the word “haul”. I refuse to use it when I’m referring to buying en mass. So, on this website I’ll be calling it a “beauty booty” instead.

I decided to make another purchase on Addicted2LipBalm.com.au a few weeks ago. I didn’t want to spend too much money but then again I wanted to try out a few brands that I had never heard from before.

Let me just say that Addicted2LipBalm.com.au is a great website for lip products. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found them. I came across them randomly when trying to get my hands on EOS Lip Spheres.
(And for those who are curious, I was NOT compensated to say that. I said it because they really are great.)

Some people wouldn’t believe me when I say that my makeup bag is boring. Really. It is! I don’t carry much in it at all because I personally don’t like touching up my makeup too much.
I’m pretty lucky that things like eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara never stray too far from my face. The only thing that does is lip product. Lip balm, lipstick or lip liner. Those are the only bits of makeup I play around with more than anything on any given day.

So I got a lot of requests asking what my top 5 favourite hot pink (fuchsia) lipsticks were because it’s common knowledge that it’s my colour of choice when it comes to lip colour.

My all-time favourite beauty product has got to be a lipstick. All my friends know that my bright fuchsia pout is my signature look.

Its very important to look after your lips to prevent chapping which leads to split skin and possibly infection.
Like all skin, it needs to be cared for and at least a couple of times a week must be exfoliated and then moisturised afterwards. After you’ve exfoliated your lips you’ve got to put a good lip conditioner to keep your lips hydrated because your lips don’t contain any glands that product the natural oils that skin needs to stay and look healthy. Because of this your lips are the quickest to dry out than the rest of your body and forget licking your lips for hydration – saliva dried extremely quickly and removed moisture from your lips which makes it even worse! Its especially important to keep your pout moisturised in the Winter, but as Australia is now going into Summer it still applies but with the added care of choosing a lip conditioner with SPF, because all skin will burn. Your lips included.

I’ve heard so much hype on the internet about Sleek MakeUp. So, naturally I gravitated towards it and instantly fell in love! Bright colours, shimmer, cruelty-free makeup–I was in heaven! One of my favourite things I’ve sampled so far from Sleek have definitely been their eyeshadow palettes; but that’s a whole other post.
