» KONY 2012 – REPOST. SHARE. REPEAT.

So, if you’ve been living under a rock somewhere or gone back in time where internet excess is unreachable, you haven’t seen this video yet…

SO WATCH IT!

Now that you’ve seen that, you’d have to be a heartless person if that didn’t move you somehow.
Imagine being a little kid and someone just taking you from your bed when you slept at night, forcing you to do things you didn’t want to and seeing violence every day after that, including the slaughter of your own family.

Hard to believe that it actually happens, but it’s the sad reality of these kids living in Uganda.

So, why do I write this post today?

Well, I’m just doing my part. I shared this video on my Facebook and hash-tagged it on Twitter. My brother and I bought the bracelet and will wear it everyday for the rest of 2012.
I’m going a step further and using my website as a platform to spread the word and help MAKE KONY FAMOUS just as the video suggests. I will leave this post up for a week – seven whole days – to show my support in for this video.

What can you do to help?

Share the above video on your Facebook. It’s soon to become the ripple effect and one person will share with say, fifty friends, who will share with fifty of their fifty friends and so on.

Tweet – #KONY2012 – on your Twitter. That’s all you have to do! Hash-tagging it will group it with millions of other supporters.

Sign the pledge. Visit KONY2012.COM. Just enter your email address and your postal code and you’ve signed it.

Buy the Kony Action Kit, t-shirts, bracelets & posters. Every little bit helps. Bracelets are only $10.

DONATE! Any little bit counts. Donate a few dollars here. (Completely tax deductible, too.)

Thanks for showing your support everyone! STOP AT NOTHING til this guy is captured and the invisible children are finally seen.

REPOST. SHARE. REPEAT.

» FROM THE PROS – Lisa Eldridge: Marilyn Monroe

Last month myself and a fellow Beauty Blogger Dana from Blushfully has a conversation on Twitter about creating a shadows around the eye, similar to how the beautiful Marilyn Monroe used to.

This video then circulated…

It is truly a beautiful video and I had to share it with you all.
